Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this dynamic exchange, where ideas converge and solutions emerge for the evolving needs of our educational ecosystem.

Topics Of Discussion

This practical workshop is designed to guide educators and administrators through the journey of implementing AI in schools and districts. Participants will move from foundational AI concepts to actionable steps for integration, including assessing readiness, selecting the right tools, and aligning AI initiatives with educational goals. Through real-world examples and collaborative planning, attendees will learn strategies for building support among stakeholders, addressing ethical considerations, and measuring impact.

Join us for a forward-thinking session designed to redefine what it means to be an educator in today’s rapidly evolving landscape. This workshop will explore the skills, mindsets, and tools essential for modern educators, including leveraging technology, fostering inclusive classrooms, and engaging digital-native learners. Participants will gain practical insights into adapting teaching methods, cultivating resilience, and embracing continuous professional growth. Walk away with a toolkit of strategies to stay relevant, impactful, and inspired in the journey of modern education.

In this interactive session, explore how to build a dynamic AI ecosystem that fosters innovation in learning environments. Participants will learn strategic approaches to integrate AI tools and platforms effectively, tailoring them to enhance both teaching and learning experiences. Through hands-on activities and case studies, we’ll dive into best practices for aligning AI technologies with organizational goals, ensuring ethical implementation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

This roundtable discussion, Equitable Grading: Beyond the Numbers, will explore the negative impacts of inequitable grading practices on student achievement and explore solutions to develop more equitable grading practices. During the discussion we will analyze traditional grading practices, examine biases embedded in traditional grading, brainstorming ideas on adopting more equitable grading practices, and look into how AI can be used as a thought partner to eliminate implicit biases. The ultimate goal is to develop ways to promote a more just and accurate grading system that empowers all students to succeed.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the vital role that district technology departments play in supporting special education students. Join District Technology Leader Matt Joseph and District Special Education Leader Stefanie Savo to learn how technology can transform learning experiences, helping students with disabilities overcome barriers and fully engage with the curriculum. This session will dive into technologies, the importance of cross-departmental collaboration, and ongoing professional development. By fostering these practices, districts can create inclusive environments where all students thrive. Join us to discover how strategic technology use can empower special education and promote success for every learner.

This leadership talk with Dr. Stephanie Downey Toledo explores the critical need for increased representation of women and mothers in the role of superintendent within public education. Despite the significant contributions of women in educational settings, they remain underrepresented in top leadership positions. This session will delve into ways one woman has navigated the barriers that hinder women’s advancement in education leadership. By highlighting successful female superintendents and their journeys, the talk will inspire current and aspiring leaders to advocate for inclusive practices and empower the next generation of women leaders in education. Join us in fostering a more equitable and diverse leadership landscape in public education.

Delegate Testimonials

Josette Williams
Director, Boston Public Schools (MA)

After experiencing the Fall forum in 2023, I was energized to come back this spring with an open mind and heart to think about my role and ability to approach the AI world with much less resistance and caution. I have so much to learn about this world of AI but now I’m ready to be guided.

Tracy Leigh
Supervisor of Educational Technology, Wayne Township Public Schools (NJ)

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the RTM conference for several reasons. I appreciated how well-organized the event was, especially in terms of scheduling. Being strategically paired with vendors allowed for meaningful interactions and valuable insights into the latest technological solutions available in the market. The strategy sessions and round tables I participated in were enlightening and engaging, providing me with a wealth of knowledge and practical strategies that I could implement in my own context. Overall, the RTM conference proved to be a highly enriching experience, offering a perfect blend of networking opportunities, educational sessions, and hands-on learning experiences!

Luz Melendez
Executive Director of Bilingual & ESL, Midland Independent School District (TX)

This is my first time attending this forum, I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities to network, especially connecting with vendors one-on-one.

Joel DiBartolomeo
Assistant Superintendent, Marple Newtown School District (PA)

Discussions with colleagues from across a geographic range brought together poignant thought partners who are facing the same challenges. These discussions expanded on ideas that have been read about and tried in many places and through these conversations I left with a more refined understanding of the problems. Groups would capitalize on the ideas shared and converge on practical solutions.

The people - delegates, speakers, and partners - in attendance are the substance that make this conference an invaluable use of time and investment in learning.
